Beachside retreat in Pampanga

Century Properties kicks off Resort Residences’ third tower at Azure North

The San Fernando, Pampanga skyline has changed with the completion of the Bali and Monaco towers at the city’s newest landmark—The Resort Residences at Azure North, Century Properties’ first mid-rise development North of Metro Manila.

In a sprawling eight-hectare property, the completed two towers have a total of 1,606 units spread out over each of the two towers’ 29 floors. Its third, the 27-storey Barbados Tower, was launched recently. It will add another 820 units to the development. Barbados is set to be completed in 2025.

Azure North is just an hour and a half drive from Metro Manila and some minutes away from other key Pampanga commercial and residential areas such as Clark, Subic, and more, with its location right where the North Luzon Expressway and J. Abad Santos Avenue intersect.

Drawing inspiration from Azure Paranaque City

With the completion of the first phase of the amenity area, residents will soon be able to enjoy the concept of a tropical oasis,  drawing inspiration from the Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque City.

The white sand that surrounds the wave pool brings the beachside experience right outside the residents’ doors. In addition to the wave pool, the completion of the first phase of the amenity also includes the clubhouse. With a roof deck, bar, and fully equipped gym, the clubhouse is set as an area where residents can socialize and lounge and is appointed with furnishings that reflect the vibe of a tropical vacation destination.

Central Luzon, a logistics, lifestyle hub in the offing

One of Central Luzon’s largest and most populous cities, San Fernando is a bastion of arts and culture. With its decades-long tradition of lantern-making, the city is dubbed the Christmas Capital of the Philippines. But interspersed between streets steeped in tradition are new opportunities cropping up. BPOs and IT firms are slowly filling the city, providing jobs and new opportunities. It is also close to the Clark International Airport. For those who want an escape from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila but still long to be in an urban setting, San Fernando is the perfect compromise.

With the government’s push towards decentralization and decongestion of the overcrowded NCR, Pampanga looks to be one of the emerging centers of economic activity.

“We want this project to be our contribution to Pampanga’s real estate landscape and be another attraction for people to come to the province,” said Century Properties Group Inc. (CPGI) President Jose Marco R. Antonio.

“As the government pushes for decentralization of economic growth, Century Properties hopes that Azure North serves as a catalyst for people to start moving up North which in turn will help the government achieve their goals.”

ADVERTISEMENTCentral Luzon is being eyed by the Department of Trade and industry as a new logistics hub due to its proximity to many upcoming and under-construction infrastructure works.

The construction of facilities such as the Central Luzon Link Expressway, the Manila-Clark Railway, and Skyway 3 and the improvement of already existing facilities such as the Clark International Airport are breathing fresh air into the province.

The Resort Residences at Azure North promises relaxing beachside living

Imagine waking up every day and enjoying the wonders of beachside living right next to your home. As you peer through your window, your eyes enjoy the calming sight of the relaxing movement of the waves and the beautiful sands of the beach, as if each day was a vacation.

That is what Century Properties Group Inc. (CPG) wants its residents atThe Resort Residences at Azure North (Azure North), located in San Fernando, Pampanga, to experience.

With 1,606 units, CPG’s first mid-rise development in northern Luzon recently completed two towers—Bali and Monaco—with 29 floors. A third tower, named Barbados, is set to be completed in December 2025 and will house an additional 820 units.

The studio unit is measured at 22.05-24.25 sqm and 27.22-34.77 sqm (with balcony).

In a breeze, Azure North is ready to provide its residents with the full-on tropical experience, recently announcing the completion of their aforementioned two towers and the first phase of their beach-inspired amenities in a ceremony held last Saturday, October 8.

Inspired by familial dreams

The completion ceremony kicked off with an opening speech by Monica Trajano, CPG president for in-city development.

“We are delighted that you could all come and see and witness today the fruition of what Century has envisioned for this wonderful city of San Fernando, a city that is growing by leaps and bounds,” she told guests.

She further said: “Our journey toward this mission has reached a milestone today and, as you can see, Century Properties continues its tradition of innovation by transforming the hugely successful concept of beach in the city from the Azure Urban Resort Residences in Parañaque.”

Jose Marco R. Antonio, CPG president and CEO, shared the company’s inspiration in developing beach-inspired residences.

The Resort Residences at Azure North first began development in the year 2014.

Homebuyers, Antonio said, wanted to take their families to a vacation on the beach. “So that inspired us to create a destination where they can have a vacation every day in their backyard.”

Antonio, then, highlighted the benefits of living in a development such as Azure North, where residents can experience a one-of-a-kind, unique living experience.

“With this much-received idea by the public, we wanted to bring this here in San Fernando in the North to create our own humble contribution to a flagship project in San Fernando,” he said.

The beach theme of the residential development was inspired by conversations CPG had with families who want to go on a family vacation by the beach.

Coming from the success of Azure South, Antonio said he further wanted to pursue the goal of giving Filipino homeowners a well-deserved property.

“We believe the Filipino homeowners deserve more properties like it, that’s why we really put our hearts and minds together to replicate that experience and, this time, in San Fernando, Pampanga,” he said.

Convenience and accessibility

Apart from being an hour and a half drive from Metro Manila, Azure North is a few minutes away from other key Pampanga commercial and residential areas such as Clark and Subic and its location is strategically next to the North Luzon Expressway and the J. Abad Santos Avenue intersection.

Top executives from Century Properties Group Inc. and the House of David, as well as local government officials, architects, and interior designers, come together for the ribbon cutting of the two towers and phase 1 amenities of The Resort Residences at Azure North.

“I think many buyers are coming because of the accessibility of the location. A lot of people have told me that after exiting San Fernando, you are here in five minutes so they like the convenience,” Trajano said.

“I also think they like the promise of the whole estate. We have a lot to do here in the future.”

With talks of future developments, Trajano revealed that two buildings are in development next to Azure North, namely a corporate center for the Bank of Florida and a commercial area that will house Centuria Medical, CPG’s outpatient medical center that contains surgical facilities, laboratories, and many more.

“We’re looking at that as a huge development because, especially after the pandemic, people want that. Access to healthcare is imperative, it’s not anymore just nice to have. When people think about where they want to live, they think about their basic needs at their doorstep,” she said.

“If there is something like this that we can provide, because we have a platform that provides health service, we want to bring it out to the communities that we are in,” she added.

The sparkling white sand that surrounds the wave pool brings the beachside experience right outside the residents’ doors.

According to Century Properties Group Inc. (CPGI) President and CEO Jose Marco R. Antonio, Azure North embodies Century Properties’ vision for new generation real estate, which addresses the ever-evolving lifestyles of Filipinos.

He said Azure North is a well-rounded and holistic lifestyle fit for both work and relaxation. The amenities are curated for their optimum experience – from the white sand beach and wave pool which provide an authentic beachside experience, to the clubhouse which serves as a place to meet other residents and unwind while overlooking the lush surroundings.

With the rise of hybrid and work-from-home schemes, residents can feel at home while inside their units and feel like they’re on a getaway once they step away from their condos.

Why Pampanga?

When asked why Pampanga, Antonio said Pampanga is highly accessible either through land travel or by air – Clark International Airport is just a few minutes away – so people can reach the province with relative ease. Also known as the Philippines’ culinary capital, Pampanga is filled with rich cuisine and culture, attracting locals and tourists alike.

One of Central Luzon’s largest and most populous cities, San Fernando is a bastion of arts and culture with its decades-long tradition of lantern-making, making the city as its Christmas Capital of the Philippines.

Antonio added BPOs and IT firms are slowly filling the city, providing jobs and new opportunities. It is also close to the Clark International Airport. For those who want an escape from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila but still long to be in an urban setting, San Fernando is the perfect compromise.

With the government’s push towards decentralization and decongestion of the overcrowded cities, Pampanga looks to be one of the emerging centers of economic activity.

“We want this project to be our contribution to Pampanga’s real estate landscape and be another attraction for people to come to the province. As the government pushes for decentralization of economic growth, Century Properties hopes that Azure North serves as a catalyst for people to start moving up North which in turn will help the government achieve their goal as well,” Antonio said.

Central Luzon itself, he furthered,  is proving to be a new growth center, eyed by the Department of Trade and Industry as a new logistics hub due to its proximity to many upcoming and under-construction infrastructure works. The construction of various facilities such as the Central Luzon Link Expressway, the Manila-Clark Railway, and Skyway 3 and the improvement of already existing facilities such as the Clark International Airport are breathing fresh air into the province.

These projects bring with them an easier commute for the workers and residents while also making the transport of goods quicker. With all the progress that is happening in the city, The Resort Residences at Azure North has become an ideal residential destination.
